Subject: Metal Gear Rising E3 Demo Title Screen Wed May 23, 2012 10:03 pm
The video shows the title screen of the playable demo of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Konami will make available to E3 2012 attendees. And you know what? I’m excited about this. Tragic? Maybe a little.
The short little taster is about 50% logos, and really doesn’t show any gameplay or anything, but it’s super cool so I’ll forgive it. It’s also an unlisted video so watch it quick before someone realises and pulls it..
The Platinum Games-developed spin-off is expected to be dated for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 during Konami’s pre-E3 press conference, and has been the subject of an intense marketing campaign over the last few weeks.

Video is Mass Effect 3 Resurgence
During the last Mass Effect 3 multiplayer event, players were charged with taking down 3 million banshees. They failed. And now there are banshees everywhere. As detailed on the BioWare Blog, this weekend’s Operation Shieldwall debuts a new “special circumstance”:
“Due to the failure of Operation SILENCER, more banshees will spawn with Reaper enemies and might also spawn with other enemies.”
I don’t know whether to be excited or terrified.
The operation’s overall goal is to promote 50,000 characters, which will reward all participants with a Victory Pack including a high chance at a rare weapon.

There’s also a squad goal to promote three characters, which will give your whole crew a Commendation Pack.
The operation kicks off on Friday, May 25 at 6:00PM PT until Sunday, May 27 at 5:00PM PT.
The operation is available to all three platforms, although you’ll have to make sure you’ve got “upload gameplay feedback” switched on. PlayStation 3 players won’t see a screen announcing the special event but BioWare was quick to reassure users that it’s a known issue and won’t effect rewards or participation.

Who’s excited about Assassin’s Creed III’s playable E3 2012 demo? Ubisoft is! See the development team chat about how hard they’ve worked on the preview build, which will be the open world adventure’s first mass hands-on debut.
We’ll have an agent on site to test the demo out, of course. Although details of what will actually be on show are slim, the team did let loose one snippet – it will include six cinematics.
Assassin’s Creed III releases at the end of October on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, with a Wii U build expected.

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is out now in the US, so Pat and Sam decided to load the game up and shoot things together. They even filmed their session, which includes the first 15 minutes of the game. The Game’s out in the UK on Friday.

Subject: Lost Planet 3 gameplay footage Thu May 24, 2012 2:59 am
It appears LP3 is a mixture of Lost Planet and Dead Space, the developers even say it themselves. However, after watching the gameplay, you will note, LP3 is actually more like Dead Space, than it is Lost Planet. It's what a good number of LP fans are saying, and from this footage, it appears to be true. The game genre for LP3, is suppose to be "Survival Horror".

Famitsu has revealed the first solid details and screenshots of the forthcoming Rinne no Lagrange Hybrid Disc Bandai Namco will be releasing a month after the debut of the second season of the TV series in July. The title of the video game and OVA hybrid will be Rinne no Lagrange: Kamogawa Days and will be set in between the first and second seasons of the TV series, primarily acting as a bridge between the two.

The disc is split into the OVA, Kamogawa Days which will have a running time of 70 minutes and takes place immediately after the events of the last episode of the first season, which finds the girls spending their summer vacation together. The second part of the disc is the game, which is titled Kamogawa Dream Match and pits the girls against the Orbit menace in a series of missions where Madoka, Muginami and Lan will be playable characters. Currently there is no word on a US release of the Hybrid Disc, despite the series being licensed for digital distribution in the US by Viz Media. Anyone hoping for this to be released Stateside?

Konami is teasing folks again, and this time, the tease points to a website called, The Dragon Returns, which is supposedly Castlevania: Lord of Shadows 2. The date on the site points to Konami’s pre-E3 presser which takes place on May 31. A NeoGAF user looked at the page’s source code, and found “CLOS Teaser Page” listed. The teaser is also up on Facebook. Earlier this week, it was reported the game would not only arrive on PS3 and Xbox 360, but Wii U as well with the later interacting with the 3DS title Mirror of Fate. Both titles are in development at MercurySteam.

Subject: Live-action Metro trailer shows harrowing world Thu May 24, 2012 8:50 pm
THQ has unleashed its live-action trailer for Metro: Last Light, showing the game’s alarming vision of a world during a nuclear holocaust in 2013 Moscow. Mostly live-action, the trailer offers a glimpse at the game’s visuals in a shot of a real-time city at its very close. We won’t spoil exactly how that goes down, though – you should watch it yourself.
Originally announced as Metro 2034, the game is an integral part of THQ’s more core gamer-focused line-up for the current fiscal year.
It’s due at some point in early 2013.

Kalypso Media has released a teaser video for DARK, Realmforge’s vampire, action-stealth game. It’s posted below, and shows who we assume is the main character, Eric Bane, about to have a very, very bad day. Game’s out for PC and consoles in early 2013.

Kojima Productions ended its Zone of the Enders HD Night in Shinjuku with a big announcement – a new Zone of the Enders is currently underway. According to 4Gamer.net, Hideo Kojima is serious about creating a sequel, which is why he felt the confidence to announce the project. However, the game is still in the very early, prototype and experimental stages.
Twitter user Magu, who attended the event, says the project is a sequel to Anubis set not in a futuristic setting, but in an ancient civilization. The render shown above was created in the Fox Engine.

Subject: Zone of the Enders HD gets Japanese release date, screens, special edition Fri May 25, 2012 10:18 pm
Konami has released a ton of information on Zone of the Enders HD Collection’s Japanese release – sharing the date, first screenshots and information of a ‘Premium Package’ release. The HD collection will launch on October 25th and will be available for PS3 and 360 both either on a disc or as a download. The PS3 download will land day-and-date with the retail version, but the 360 download release date hasn’t yet been determined.
In addition to the standard retail edition Konami will release a special edition ‘Premium Package’ version of the game.

Zone of the Enders HD includes HD versions of the original title and its sequel updated with 720p HD visuals and running at a smooth 60 frames per second. Other aspects of the game including the visual effects, music, sound and UI elements have all been improved, too.
The announcement comes on the same day that Hideo Kojima teased a first look at artwork from a new “Enders Project.”

What appears to be the first piece of art from Konami's rumoured Castlevania: Lords of Shadow sequel has found its way onto the web. The image, above, appeared on the publisher's Facebook page along with a link to a teaser site titled The Dragon Returns, promising a 31st May reveal. A clever NeoGAF poster then spotted "CLOS Teaser Page" in the site's source code, adding further weight to speculation that a sequel to MercurySteam's 2010 adventure is indeed incoming.

According to a report earlier this week, Lords of Shadow 2 is in development for Wii U, PlayStation 3, Vita and Xbox 360, with the 3DS receiving side-scrolling spin-off title Mirror of Fate.

Sega has decided to delay the western release of Platinum’s Anarchy Reigns, the developer has announced on its website.
As Platinum’s efforts on the brawler are “finished, localized, and ready to go,” Sega will be making the decision on when best to launch it. There are no new release windows though; the game’s launch date is now officially “TBA.”
The Japanese release is still scheduled for July 5th, with a demo expected next week.

Crystal Dynamics’ Tomb Raider reboot is about to gets its first showing since last year’s E3. A teaser trailer here gives a few quick glimpses of an upcoming full gameplay trailer, due to be released next Thursday, on May 31.
